I’m now 32 episodes into Sailor Moon and really enjoying it! What amazes me is how different it feels from the earliest episodes. Already so much has happened, and the characters and their relationships have developed so much.

I’m reminded of the reaction to The Simpsons aspect ratio fuckery on Disney+ and how that got fixed, but many other shows (like M*A*S*H*) didn’t generate enough noise and so were never fixed.

I am watching Hundra and I cannot unsee the godawful heavy-handed dirt removal which has caused everything small and fast-moving to flicker in and out of existence for the whole movie.

I watched the new Red Sonja movie and had a surprisingly good time! The characters were funny and loveable, the creatures and action was bloody and satisfying, and it may just have the best horse in movies ever! Well worth a look!
