Apparently the person that has it and gets to be the first human with it is having a rough time. Here's hoping they have some good infection control happening in the hospital so we don't get a co-infection with seasonal flu. Mixing is bad.

Went to my shelves…There’s Snyder’s “On Tyranny”, Helen Hanff’s wonderful “84, Charing Cross Road”, “Tell Me How It Ends: An Essay in Forty Questions” from Valeria Luiselli, and older and the shortest, “Here Is New York” from E.B. White, which still has my boarding pass from a visit 20 years ago.

Cox always strikes me as doing his own thing (consistently creative). Also, I have now learned that "rural life humor" is a category on Amazon. Kimmerer's Serviceberry is also short.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills: the emails from Landon Thomas has his New York Times signature block...he was employed by NY Times at the time. He was communicating directly with Epstein about Trump, and was given incriminating information about Trump. It's been in NYT's possession since 2015
