Which really does tell you all you need to know about the pronatalist (anti-abortion) mobs doesn’t it? The only time it matters if women die in childbirth along with their babies is when they are white. I think there is a word for this.

In this case it is Armagnac, sweet vermouth, angostura bitters and a little maraschino cherry juice - or a sweet Manhattan but swap the liquor. Rather lovely.
