Given a choice between two coffee shops that I know serve awful coffee, I ought to pick the one for my morning brew that sells the cheaper cuppa. I didn't this morning, and now realize and admit my error.

Ever heard of a 'hatchet bedroom'? That's a bedroom set up so the bed is right beside the doorway. So when somebody rushes in with a hatchet to go whackety-whack, your bed, with you in it is right there. That's why people put their bed as far away from the doorway as possible.
