Yesterday was a moment of redemption for me…3 years ago, I made a Chantilly birthday cake for my wife that failed in all the aesthetic ways. Yesterday, it all came together (not perfect, but I’ll take it!). A then-versus-now comparison:

I don’t have a dedicated Tolkien bookcase yet, but I have some of my favorites displayed in our living room built-ins…Tolkien incorporated into daily life. 1/3
