A Gentleman's Gentleman by TJ Alexander (libby ebook, but a staff recommend at a charming bookshop in Richmond, VA)

Fun and engaging. The right mix of drama and silliness with a twist I didn't see coming. I felt the romance was a bit prefunctory but still a good read.

Copper Script - KJ Charles (libby audiobook)

KJ Charles is always charming. This was a vacation audiobook so I wasn't the most focused but it was fun.

The Apology by Han Jimin (hardcover)

A Murakami-esque exploration of the lasting danger of lies. Half ghost story, half love story this book is a call to be forgiving to oneself and others, and willing to admit mistakes. A gift from @phoebeacheson.bsky.social

Red White & Royal Blue (libby audiobook)

Sweet and endearing romance probably everyone has read. The political elements seem naive at best in 2025. Good plane book.

My Tiny Bookshop (nintendo switch)

A truly charming little game!

Neon Grey Midnight Green - Neko Case

I think it goes without saying but strange and surprising and really good

To Sketch a Scandal - Jess Everlee (paperback)

This was ok but i never really connected with either of the MCs.

Devil Judge (viki)

This was probably better as a stylistic exercise than as an actual drama but dang I'm weak for Ms. Jeong

Your Inner Fish by Neil Shubin (libby audiobook)

I do feel mentally like a fish lately. This was very good though.

Portrait of a Scotsman and A Gentleman's Gambit by Evie Dunmore (paperback)

3rd and 4th in the series. Both enjoyable, although i like the first two a bit more. On the whole a very enjoyable series!

Enough is Enuf by Gabe Henry (libby audiobook)

Superficial but interesting. I didn't care too much for the narrator. This did make me want to study linguistics more seriously.

Bringing Down the Duke - Evie Dunmore (libby ebook)

This is actually the first in the series. Just as charming as the other i read. Good summer book!

Better Late Than Single (netflix)

I only watched this because my ~ultimate bias~ Inguk was on the panel of commentators but it ended up being surprisingly sensitive and kind of charming
