Accidentally in Paris at the same time as Barbara Hannigan at the Paris Philharmonic last night, singing & conducting La Voix humaine, so I grabbed a last min ticket in the heavens. Extraordinary, virtuosic, indelibly seared into memory. It should never be done any other way!
