Career goal: today was my first time coordinating by myself a technical #negotiation in the #EuropeanParliament to find an agreement on 32 compromises and 210 amendments.
We haven't struck a deal yet but we are getting there!

The difference is that in the last mandate EPP and ECR were teaming up more coincidentally. Now it has become intentional as part of a very dangerous strategy from EPP

It's great that the #EuropeanParliament recognizes that. Although, major political forcers are deliberately dismantling every climate policy the UE has adopted.

In Strasbourg trying to find the right wording for a compromise on an amendment on energy that could be accepted by all political groups.
I would never have thought that finding an agreement on principles behind the energy transition and, to this extent, the future of people would be so difficult

When you say: "renewables will need to extract minerals from the earth", remember that it is only for building the power plants, so not prolonged dependency. And it requires 535 les material than the current fossil fuels economy

there are so many future scenarios that the original question "tell me what it will be like" it is almost impossible to answer. Amitav Gosh was right saying that "the climate crisis is an imagination crisis"

The energy price is one for all different source of generation. To this extent, the equilibrium price will be set by the most expensive source in the mix matching the demand, namely gas
