I tend to agree with your conclusion that coaches should do it because it can't hurt, but to say that kicking in 2025 is the same as 2018 isn't accurate.

I don't know... When the 49ers put their backup QB in this year, he did pretty good. Sanders just isn't an NFL quality QB.
