Hey, Virginians! The special elections tomorrow (Tuesday, January 7) will take place despite the snow. So if you're one of the districts where elections are happening, be sure to vote. We can keep the razor-thin Democratic majorities in the state legislature and further constrain the governor.
What to expect in Virginia's state legislative special elections
Three special elections could determine control of the General Assembly.

Today, I was sworn in for my second term in the Montana House of Representatives.

I am honored to get to represent Missoula once again, and am ready to fight on behalf of Montana's constitution and all the people who call our great state home.

Today is January 6, the anniversary of the felon/GOP’s violent insurrection trying to stop the peaceful transfer of power in the 2020 election! We remember 140 officers who were injured & those who lost their lives due to the attack on the Capitol! Hold all involved in the insurrection accountable!

I don't where this all ends up, but I don't think a democracy in which only one of the two major parties is committed to peaceful transition of power is particularly sustainable!

Somehow it's even more depressing that it *did* work, it just took four years longer than they expected.

Got to join my wife Zooey Zephyr for her swearing in today on day 1 of the Montana legislature.

I was so happy to be at her side, and I know how much she cares about the work ahead.

I’ll be there at her side always, for her, for our community, and for all the people who depend on us.

If you try to steal a loaf of bread, and hurt no one in the process, America will throw you in prison.

If you try to steal an election, and hurt lots of people in the process, America with throw you a party, give you its most prestigious job, and millions of dollars to squander on your vulgarity.

Today is January 6th and no one is watching the Capitol be plundered, feces being smeared on the walls, and police officers being stabbed with American flags.

Why? Because one side believes in democracy no matter what, and the other side only believes in it only when they win.
