Shout-out to my friend who brought us Osaka expo senbei crackers. And my friend who tried to tell me they were banana flavored even though it clearly has an octopus on the front and tasted like octopus.

Just want to share this photo of the emperor and empress greeting a sea otter.

Just answer the damn question. God you have to make everything so difficult. Tell us:

What is it like to be such a handsome guy?

I have an insane idea for a silly side project actually. It's a constructed "language" where all the Latin/Greek loanwords in English are all claques from sinophere vocabulary and Chinese characters can be used to write them.

I just don't feel like I have a grasp on the meaning of most abstract words anymore thanks to this language.

Just wait till the fancy New Yorker man defecates himself in horror when he learns matrices usually don't have inverses.

Let's write a short little book on graphical linear algebra for humanities students... So they think the foundations of machine learning are elegant strands of threads which get delicately woven together.

Stole this screenshot from the bad place, This is literally a take written in the New Yorker by a regular contributor. A publication cursed with writers who are way too confident in their own understanding.

And I also have a pensive map of some far away and geologically interesting terrain, but mine has one more dimension than yours.

Well. You lose. Because I have this in my living room:

Iono. I am sorta haunted by the beauty of this late night takoyaki street stall in the tokyo gay bar district. I'm chasing a memory that's better than the real thing.

Sometimes you read a book that is just so...
You can't identify with the perspective of any of the characters so much...
That reading it feels like being forced to perceive their world from their viewpoint in a manic and disorienting and violent sort of way.
