Went to an amazing Japanese restaurant but they informed me that tariffs are effecting the Japanese restaurant industry bc many items are imported from Japan. So, the highest quality fish will soon be unavailable. Wtf.

When ordering a product for our business today, I was informed the price was raised 45%, and the other company we use for this item was out of stock and said they were back ordered 3 months. Small businesses will go bankrupt. We were already struggling. Thanks Dump.

Fortunate, to have been raised, in part by Holocaust survivors. Who read news, were actively engaged politically, & told me every chance they had stories about the war. So, I recognize the signs bc they said that it could happen again. Even as a child, didn’t let me live in a fantasy of security.

People are still in prison for a plant. Cannabis is still illegal although widely sold through the hemp act. Cannabis business doesn’t have safe banking. We let large corporations take the entire industry while mom & pop went bankrupt. This is an example of how it’s all gone wrong. All of it.

On Jan 7th, I was leaving Bakersfield Ca. I was going to LA but the fires, so I turned back north. Ahead of me, I saw a poor migrant worker being pulled over by 2 border patrol agents w guns. He looked terrified. I was confused. Now we know what has been happening. It’s cruel.
