I start by writing Act 2 first, then Act 3, and write Act 1 last ☺️

For example, if I was writing Raiders of the Lost Ark I’d start with Indy & Marion in Cairo.

This means you’re writing Act 2 with more energy, and not rewriting Act 1 nearly as much.

Whenever I read scripts that have CUT TO between every scene I can’t help but whisper to myself “Your page count could be so much lower…”

I do use MATCH CUT at least once or twice a script 🙃
