Honestly. FML. This is the definition of sports-washing. “Whatever you think of the oppressive regime of Saudi Arabia that has bought a football club to distract from its human rights record by getting people to think about something else, you have to be pleased & think about something else”.
Whatever you think about Saudi/PIF/ sportswashing it’s still possible to feel happy for all those Newcastle fans who have waited all their lives for a day like this.
