RIP Internet - fake news is going to sink it. This will open space for a trusted competitor. Neil is predicting a return to books, but that’s 1-way comms, a non-starter for most. So I am betting Internet 2.0. Multi-way comms, lose anonymity, but gain trust.

Elon’s actions are driving a pretty fair and reasonable reaction from everyone else.

The only problem is that “working together” is easy in theory but hard in practise. Everyone has their own incompatible ideas on what it means which, ironically, helps create the hate that Gary says is the problem

Great explanation on identifying which scientific breakthroughs are likely to lead to real world impact. TLDW: can it scale horizontally - make more units more cheaply over time (solar panels) or vertically, bigger is better / more efficient (thermal generators)? ATM, nuclear does not scale.
