I think he should campaign on closing all of the tax loopholes rather than on a wealth tax. That would net the same benefit but would seem more fair to everyone.

As a Northwestern alum, I'm deeply saddened by their signing of the agreement with Trump yesterday. The terms aren't especially onerous, but I expected them to keep fighting based on principle. There is no reason the U.S. gov should have such a deep interest in the internal affairs of a university.

They're not just sending them to a third country. They're putting them in prison there, for an unknown amount of time, with no legal recourse, and no way to get out.

He doesn’t care because he’s going to get us (taxpayers) to retrofit it at the cost of $1 billion (and no cost to himself), and then he’ll take it from the government when he’s no longer president.
