Here is the action in my garage and garden this morning. Looks like this one hitched a ride back from the forest preserve here in Chicago.

Sign of the day at today’s protest here in Chicago.

Want to know what brings a regular voter out to protest? An executive branch out of control. I came down after work to make sure my kids know that what is going on is NOT OK. I do not support the use of Federal Troops in Chicago.
Imagine the reaction if D’s had sent troops into R states?

Here is my favorite sign from the protest today in Chicago. My sign and several others, noted “DUE PROCESS”

It is also important to mention that there were people into their 80’s at the protest today (CHI). I spoke with an older couple on the train ride down. They said they were there for their kids, grand children and great grandchildren. The wife told me that she finds this worse than the 60’s.

I went to the protest today in downtown Chicago. I went for my family, the Republic and my fellow citizens.

There were a fair amount of people. We don’t agree on everything and that is OK. We do agree that the current administration is not behaving in an acceptable fashion at all.

My sign today

My main question for Senator McConnell i’m not voting for Pete Hegseth, was it a close call, Senator? You are a big part of why we are here at all.

Many of you know that Atticus Finch of Georgia is perhaps the biggest Gators fan. But many of you do not now that he has a car in Chicago area. He was out driving last night on Clybourn Ave. He’s anything but low profile.

Observing the daily DJT uproars now compared to 8 years ago during the 1st “president elect” time period, I am finding the main difference to be no hesitation. Trump knows that he has about 2 years to do whatever he wants. This time, the senate will confirm all, or recess appointments will be made.
