Once again, this is a massive public jobs program for fascists.

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.
This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.
It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

there is a real fight coming, but if we burn out chasing shadows in the first month we won't be ready for the very real and very direct action we will need to stop ICE expansion. Advocates generally agree that ICE is so far just doing anything they would have done during Obama or Trump 1.0 this week

ICE is not going to "raid" a school. That is not a thing that is going to happen. They may arrest a parent who is picking a child up, or a staff member with prior conviction/deportation, but they will NOT BE "RAIDING" A SCHOOL

I've been working on Liszt's 2nd Year of Pilgrimage, and thought I was doing well. Then I listened to recordings, and discovered I had two misreadings in Sonnet 47: m.34 and m.53 (I played B-flats in m.34, and C-sharps in m.53, dumb me)! But my ears were skeptical...

If it sounds like circle of fifths, but the bass is chromatic, that's a tritone substitution! On a related note, you can ii - V - I your way to any key and it will sound good.
