He'll hate me for saying this but this fella deserves some sort of lifetime achievement award. Somebody will tell me how much @salfordbeerfest.bsky.social has raised for charity over the last ten years but this festival is so much more than that. It brings people together in the best way.

Ten years ago I was digging out at least 250kg (dry weight) of grain three times a fortnight. Today I realised in very old.
Still 300L double mighty stout and 600L mighty stout tucked away and I'm in the bath soaking my cares away.

Had a lovely chat with my MiL over dinner today and it's struck me how I might have had those chats with my own mum had she not died young.
