I joined just after the election but haven’t posted much. I’m going to try to post more here.

Thank you for crediting my work to me. The uncredited reshare by Twin Spin incorrectly notes this as a quilt created by a family. This is my work and my work alone. In order to document 2025 I have enlisted 52 quilters who will each be quilting a week and I will be assembling and coordinating.

Thank you. I’m super new to this app so I’m still figuring out the settings and learning how to use it 😅

For me it’s the seam allowance. Why is it 3/4 and then we trim to 1/4? Can’t we just use out 1/4 foot and save some fabric 😅

Hello!

That mock up is gorgeous! It’s going to be so beautiful! Here is the one I made. I made it as a shower gift for two of my good friends whose son was born this past winter.

I made the moth last year and it’s still one of my favorite makes. Her patterns are gorgeous!

Agreed. It’s exhausting. I don’t want a charismatic celebrity president with snappy comebacks. I want someone who knows how to get shit done. Our government doesn’t govern anymore it seems. It’s all photo ops and one liners. No substance. Bore me to death with policy please.

Honestly I think it’s really interesting that we continue to have this conversation about how Democrats did not appeal to Republican voters enough instead of how Democrats didn’t appeal enough to Democrats. Guns, border talk, Dwight Eisenhower speeches from the RNC, Joe Rogan. How did that help?

Thank you!

Possibly but likely not as much. Auto insurance property limits did not increase from the start of Covid on in the same way. A large part of this is the valuation difference. Your home is replacement value whereas your car is actual cash value typically. Tariffs don’t affect your existing vehicle.

This is an excellent point and something a lot people don’t know. I’ve seen a lot of messaging on how this will force people to buy American because the products will be cheaper and this is exactly why that’s not going to be the case.

I work in insurance which seems like it wouldn’t be affected since it’s a service and not a product but tariffs and deportations will cause your property insurance to skyrocket due to increased construction costs leading to higher property replacement costs on your policy.

I don’t have one but I’m always happy to chat and share what I know!

It definitely was worth it!
