Everyone takes a shot because it's attractive. After the 40th pretty similar resume they're impossible to rank against each other. I do it because it's the right thing to do, but sometimes I think if I didn't it'd be easier to go over fewer applicants and they can learn it's a decent wage later

I always put pay ranges in my postings, I think I pay fairly well for the work. You know what I get for that? Hundreds of applicants a day, from all over, including other provinces/countries. I always have to pull it after a few days because it's such a pain to sift through them all

One of my employees was diagnosed with cancer about 2 years ago. I've been working with this guy for 20+ years, long before I became the owner I was just a kid who he trained.
