If they really wanted to go full MAGA, Elon and Trump would stand 10 paces apart and then shoot each other with matched weapons - just like our founding fathers Burr & Hamilton.

Steinbeck’s Grapes of Wrath is a truly unique American novel. It should be read more than once to contemplate the multiple themes & various perspectives. I’ve read it as a teenager, young adult, middle-age, and look forward to reading it again in retirement. These quotes are still relevant today.

I’m watching 10 Year Treasury Bonds after hours and the yield is slowly reaching 4.5% again. Not good.

Notice anything different in today’s closing prices between US markets (DOW, NASDAQ, S&P500, NYSE, RUT) and the UK (FTSE), Japan (N225), and Hong Kong (HSI) markets? MAGA my ass.

Don’t let the explicit violations of the “Espionage Act” and Federal Records Law overshadow Michael Waltz’s unprofessional and childish use of emoji’s in Cabinet level text messages.

When Gunner looks at me like this, I point left and say “don’t look at me that way”. Then I point right and say “… and don’t look at me that way either”.

Got a fairly decent photo of the total lunar eclipse despite a lot of clouds this morning (March 14).

Great photo and good timing. You captured “The Straight Wall” (Rupes Recta) which only shows up 2 times each lunar cycle and hard to see in daylight.

Thank you! I’ll keep an eye on your posts, the weather, and that part of the sky. I think I can find it with my small scope if I use a 25mm lens and keep Epsilon Coronae Borealis at the edge of the field of view.

Can’t believe I took this with a cell phone camera. The Rupes Recta is a straight fault on the moon 65 miles across the southeastern part of Mare Nubium. The feature is always prominent a day after first quarter and day before last quarter. #astronomy #astrophotography

Waxing Crescent Moon (43% illumination) in Texas just before sunset on 3/5/25. iPhone 12 camera through 25mm eyepiece on 4.5” Dobsonian telescope. #astronomy #astrophotography

Beautiful waxing crescent moon (6%) with the planet Venus showing off at dusk tonight! (Taken with iPhone). #astronomy #astrophotography

The crescent phase of the planet Venus. Taken through a cloud opening tonight using an iPhone held up against the eyepiece of a small 4.5” Dobsonian telescope. May not look like much, but it is what it is. #telescopes #astronomy #astrophotography

Getting better at taking photos of the moon with my iPhone held up against the eyepiece of a small 4.5” Dobsonian telescope. Zoom in for more detail. #astrophotography #astronomy

Took this just now with an iPhone 12 held up to the eyepiece on a 4.5” Dobsonian #telescope. #moon

Dallas Offense Coordinator Schottenheimer put up the following statistics this year and Jerry Jones promoted him to coach? 32 teams in the league and the Cowboys finished #17 to #32 in team offensive categories.

This was the actual distribution of energy sources being used in Texas around noon today (according to ERCOT website). If Trump shuts down Solar and Wind, he will shut down Texas.

Solar: 34.3%
Natural Gas: 28.0%
Wind: 20.4%
Nuclear: 9.1%
Coal: 8.1%
Other: 0.1%

Nuclear and Power Storage. I accidentally clicked them off when I screenshotted. Here is a better screenshot.

Remember when Elon Musk used SpaceX to needlessly launch this heap of junk into space (a Tesla and Starman)? Elon pollutes everything he puts money into.
