The Washington Post editorial this morning essentially equating Biden's questionable pardons with Trump's outrageous Jan. 6 pardons was unconscionable. The newspaper I've been part of for 48 years has utterly lost its soul.

Jules Feiffer lived almost forever. I used to know women who looked like the woman in this Jules Feiffer cartoon. We used to say of such women "she looks like a Jules Feiffer cartoon," which was both a compliment and a condemnation. I think he loved them.

So Mark Warner was among the Senators who voted FOR the Laken Riley Act. Warner has been a disappointment to me for many years. I can’t believe I once practically fan-girled him. If only Virginia could have two Tim Kaines.

You will read countless times today that the LA mayor cut the LA Fire Department's budget by $23 million.

That is a lie.

The budget was actually *increased* by $50 million.

Jimmy Carter was a good man. He was a president many Americans didn’t “get” and whom most didn’t deserve. He was such a good man. I’m glad the Office of the President is held right now by a man who will honor him properly. May his memory be a blessing.
