All of us at Seacology were saddened to learn today of the passing of pioneering scientist and conservation activist Dr. Jane Goodall.

Dr. Goodall's groundbreaking studies of the behavior of chimpanzees gave us unprecedented understanding of our closest evolutionary cousins.

We're almost there! Thanks to a very generous gift from the Nu Skin Force For Good Foundation, our campaign to protect endangered #dolphins and help a rural community in #Bangladesh is only about $200 from its goal!

The kids absolutely loved it, and now the coastlines of these two communities, #Lobo and #Gubat, are just a little bit greener.

Working with the ABS-CBN Foundation and local community leaders and educators, we've now piloted the program at two schools in the #Philippines, this time focusing on #basketball and #tabletennis.

As part of the program, these kids also go on field trips to nearby #mangrove forests, learn about the local wildlife, and help with cleanups, tree plantings, and other fun outdoor activities.

Play for the Mangroves began as part of our nationwide conservation partnership with @grupojaragua.bsky.social in the #DominicanRepublic, where it has funded equipment, training, and competitions for thousands of young baseball and volleyball players.
