We’ve never had such a prolific crop of blackberries as this summer. I’ve made blackberry muffins, blackberry jam, blackberry crisp, and frozen bags of them. Still many more to pick. What else should I make?

Mine just arrived! I went with colour because this is a replacement for doing ms markup on my old Kindle, so I thought it would be useful. My other Kobo still works great even though it’s old. I shall report more after I’ve used this one.

Too cold out yet for this sweet primula I bought at the garden centre the other day, so she’s a houseplant for now. She’s not complaining.

This weekend I got to type my two favourite words: “The End.”
Sure, it’s only a draft; a messy, sparse, sometimes incoherent draft in need of work. But that draft is *done,* and I’m going to put the stamp on the end of that stage of the writing.
It feels great.
And I just started the sequel.
