The US plan is to give Russia what it wants. It’s insulting to the people of Ukraine, and any diplomat who went there with that proposal should be forever shamed and shunned heads of state everywhere.

No job is worth standing there, all alone in a crowded room as the one in charge insults you for no reason than his own arrogance. It’s shameful that her colleagues were to afraid of their connections or the the continuation of their jobs to defend her.

I would have, called him a rude, delusional old cowardly, crook who is terrified of the truth and who has the leadership skills of a sea slug, yet far less useful.
Even though confrontation is extremely hard for me, I'd readily say that. The man needs heavy doses of the truth.

Interestingly, I’ve met and befriended quite a few anti-fascist people in the greater Houston area. All of us are incandescent in our fury over the state of things and those who made it so.
