@dailyhivevancouver.bsky.social maybe the Royal columbian hospital is a better landmark than a casino? Or even one of the two close by skytrain stations. Much closer and walkable.

Hi Mayor Johnstone,

I'm wondering if there is any news on whether New West can be brought into the BC Hydro solar rebate initiative. I'm interested for our home, but the rebates would move the needle a lot for us.

Thanks!

Anyone of my fisheries people experiencing a delay from Fisheries Research lately? I have a manuscript that has been at "All reviews received" for over three months. I've contacted the journal via the author portal twice and Elsevier customer support once, and still no word.

Last month, I published The Last Hunt for the Jabberwock, a D&D 5e adventure in ecologic succession. The stand-alone adventure also contains a set of lesson plans for educators who want to spin up a classroom activity around this campaign.

My son basically taught himself to read at 4 with graphic novels. They are a fantastic way into reading for young kiddos

Did you know #kakapo are here too? They're the world's biggest and only flightless parrot, found only in New Zealand/Aotearoa. They're critically endangered with just 244 left. They don't follow the rules and do everything very slowly.... #conservation #parrots
