Since the Crash of 2008 I've been saying that we are being run by corporations and the rich. Those were the people responsible for burning our economy, yet Wall Street was bailed out while Main Street was ignored. It's time to focus on who our real enemies are - and it's not immigrants.

Grand Master of Science Fiction and also Fantasy. An incredibly prolific writer and cat person. Year of the Unicorn remains my favorite but I've read most of her books. She has some great YA stuff too.

Martha Wells's Murderbot Diaries are a fun, fast read. I think there are 9 in the series. The books are around 30k words each just like my Paranormal Mysteries. I love that smaller books are succeeding in the market; not everything has to be 200+ pages.

Very nice. It's sad that our state animal, the California grizzly or golden bear, is extinct. 🙁

I am overwhelmed by the support from people outside the US for the No Kings rally today. Despite our borders, flags, and cultures there is only one race on this planet: the Human Race.

Received my Advanced Reader Copy of Reckoning, the 4th book from the Songs of Chaos series by Michael R. Miller. I have read fantasy since the 1970s and I was so happy to find a writer who wasn't dishing the "same old, same old" stuff. The book goes on sale Sept 15.

I didn't really have the heart to celebrate the US 4th of July. I put out my decorations and my garden flag I created, but we've lost so much over the years thanks to our lopsided Supreme Court. My "rah-rah" is "ruh-roh".

OMG, welcome to my daily life. I'm "yelled" at the minute I get up in the morning until I go to bed at night. He gets everything he needs, and then some. Plenty of grooming and cuddles too. It could be a combination of old age (12 years) and having Siamese genes. 🙂

True to form, my local paper had zero articles on our No King Protest, but at least the San Diego Union Tribune had an article. Over 2,000 showed up and I'm so proud of my city right now. 🙂

NO ONE should be able to hoard a billion or more dollars. The general public has absolutely no concept of what one billion looks like, although this man tried to illustrate it.
