Today would have been my dad’s 90th birthday. This photo shows my dad carrying Mario Wallenda on his shoulders on a high wire. The Wallenda family lived across the street from my grandma. My dad and Mario Wallenda performed their high wire act as part of the Sarasota High School Sailor Circus.

Glad Trump had the chance to waste millions of taxpayer dollars to fly over the Daytona 500 and then ride The Beast on the track as parts of West Virginia, Virginia, Kentucky, Arkansas, and Tennessee are underwater. Priorities.

I had an appointment yesterday at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center in Aurora. While I was waiting for the uber ride home, I took this photo.

It was a beautiful, sunny day yesterday, but it was cold - 35 degrees.

Today I saw an image of the muskrat firing off what appeared to my eyes as a nazi salute during an inauguration event.

When he got his start here, he was an illegal immigrant working toward an American Dream. Where is the outrage?!

I put together a shadow box displaying my ribbons, medals, enlisted, & commissioned officer ranks, unit patches, and unit crests. Most of the ribbons and medals I received simply because I could breathe and stand at attention. Not all ribbons have accompanying medals.

My “St. Luigi” candle arrived! I consider him to be the patron saint of karma. I understand it might be sacrilege, but I think I’ll be forgiven 😊

It’s really just called a Luigi Mangione banner candle, and is made by a company called Illuminidol.
