what makes prsk's story stand out even among gacha games is that even tho there are other gacha games with all-girl casts, they always have a player character stand-in that plays an important part of the story and how the cast develops, providing an outlet for a generic and generally male-coded self-insert for the player to interact with the cast. prsk does none of that. prsk's main cast does not acknowledge the existence of a player stand-in at all. prsk characters don't have a section of their character arcs carved out to accomodate interacting with some mysterious chosen being with as little personality as possible. this gives the characters complete agency to tell their own stories and even the opportunity to dive into a diverse set of sensitive topics that otherwise would never be forced onto a player stand-in all at once. it's so refreshing to see so many female characters entirely exist for themselves without centering around guys (or the player), and to have the space to discuss dealing with misogyny, even having a character who's major character arc involves recovering from internalized misogyny, which has made 25's and mmj's story especially stand out to me.
