My head canon is that the following movies are in the same universe and appear in this continuity:
Repo Man->Men at Work->They Live->Hell Comes to Frogtown.

Nearly every time I see AI referenced, I intuitively see AL.

After being a NYTimes subscriber for a long time, I finally cut my subscription. The latest Bret Stephens column is just so far beyond.

"If the Israeli government’s intentions and actions are truly genocidal...why hasn’t it been more methodical and vastly more deadly?”

Egg-citing news! Nine fuzzy California condor chicks hatched at our wildlife conservation center this season. Eventually, they'll be released into the wild to boost the population of this critically endangered species.

Hot commie summer is cool and all, but a little time limited. I'm leaning more towards permanent trotskyite revolution.

A (slightly) wiser president would have made Kendrick Lamar his press secretary.

Its fleet week in Portland, and while I guess its cool to see the cruisers that can flatten a city from 200km away, I was really hoping they'd bring the boats that can feed, clothe, educate and innoculate children from 200km away.

We have those, right?

Fears of AI going sentient and wiping out humanity are overblown-but fears of them being condescending pricks are already a thing-witness Wordlebot.

I'm starting to think this Karl Marx guy may have been right about his predictions on capitalism.

Mother's Day is this weekend. Surely your mom will appreciate any one of the following thoughtful gifts:

1. Chocolates
2. Flowers
3. Punching Elon Musk in the dick
4. A nice dinner

Who wants to go in with me on this?

I'll bet if you wander around the property long enough you'll find David Lynch!

I too have included reporters on my group chats by accident. I only hope that the staff at The Onion who now know about my dog's vet appointment and his loose stools use this information responsibly.

Also, they keep telling me to forget their number.

Good humans still exist in this world.

I remember seeing Myrtle, who is still swimming at the New England Aquarium back in 86. I was told that my grandmother saw her in the 70s.

Zoos and aquariums are not like my youth. Caring for and repairing damage done is central to modern sanctuaries.

About 6% of Americans believe they could beat a grizzly bear in a unarmed combat.

I take this to mean that a substantial amount of Americans need a little more self confidence.

After watching Paddington 2 for the first time, then 7 more times in the subsequent 48 hours, I fully understand how people get hooked on painkillers.

People think screaming into the void is therapeutic, but they seldom consider if the void even deserves to be screamed at.

I drive an EV and plug in at home. Never used pay charging stations, despite often coming close to empty. The reason is that none I've seen takes credit card-they all use separate apps.

I'm glad this is the only example of tech bros not understanding why common currency is important for commerce.

When someone says they aren't really a fan of noir films, I ask if they've seen The French Connection. When someone says they don't really like westerns, I assume they've never seen Unforgiven. Gene Hackman was the quiet unassuming genius that was common to both.

For everyone's clarification:
Anteaters are south american mammals that, as you can guess-eat ants.

The other one is just a vark that cockneys consider to be very tough.
