…which I then ordered chronologically. I’ve been working through it for the last month or so, starting with a ton of silent films (major blind spot for me). I’m now up to the mid-1940s. (Although I will occasionally skip to more modern fare for the sake of variety).

Life got in the way and I have not really participated in the poll. This time around, but I am pleasantly shocked to see my nom, Mad Professor, made it all the way to the final group. That might be the first time that’s ever happened for one of my picks!

Does Glenn Danzig like anyone?

I feel like GvsB has never gotten a proper reappraisal. They were a big deal in indie circles back then but I rarely hear anyone talk about them now.

Was definitely not expecting to find possibly my favorite Robert Wyatt album — at any rate it contains my all-time favorite RW song, “Gharbzadegi”.

I’m not really a collector scum kinda guy, but cool that this record is an original UK press of the album.

I had a big Byrds phase maybe 15 years ago (and they’re still one of my favorite bands). I still remember how awed I was to find that Gene Clark’s post-Byrds career was so phenomenal. This one and the first Dillard & Clark album especially.

Phases and Stages is one of my favorite Willie records, part of an excellent run in the 70s that includes Shotgun Willie and Red Headed Stranger.

First time since I started re-collecting LPs about a year ago that I’ve seen a used Spoon album. $15 seems like a great price.
