Tonight 8pm - I’m live with Terry Christian.

We’ll be talking culture collapse and the rich co-opting working class identity to sell it back to us as Reform merch.

Can we reclaim it? How can poor kids create when they can’t even eat? Live. Maybe too direct. Here 👇🏼

The @pbsnews.org interviewed three economists about Trump's tariffs. Ha-Joon Chang, Willy Shih and @justinwolfers.bsky.social They all shared the same opinion about his policies - it takes a long time to build up factories. Companies also hate chaos. Trump is chaos.

Since Labour took office, 30,000 more children have been pushed into poverty by the two-child benefit cap.

That’s 109 kids every single day.

The Labour whip was taken from me for voting to scrap it.

I’d do it again — no child should grow up in poverty to satisfy a spreadsheet.

The strange story of ZLX - a Glasgow tax firm with no tax qualifications, promising clients they can claim tax relief for fridges and vegan doughnut recipes, suing clients who complain, and threatening its critics with lawsuits.

1. Rising income inequality - The wealthy continue to accumulate more riches while the middle class shrinks.
2. Speculative bubbles - Excessive speculation fueled by cheap credit led to asset price inflation.
3. Protectionism and trade wars .

The Wall Street Journal just found $4.3 billion in Medicaid waste from double billing.

You won't be surprised to learn that 100% of that money went to private insurance companies, not average people trying to swindle anyone.
Taxpayers Spent Billions Covering the Same Medicaid Patients Twice
When recipients signed up in two states at once, insurers often got paid by both. “It definitely is wasteful,” said one former state Medicaid director.

Michelle Mone is innocent until proven guilty, subpostmasters are guilty until proven innocent. That's how the British legal system works, silly.

Two Scots benefitted greatly from the Covid pandemic.

Michael Gove and Michelle Mone.
We all clapped for the NHS during the pandemic. Did it actually do... anything?
Millions of Brits lined the streets to clap for NHS and key workers during the Covid pandemic. But what happened when the clapping stopped?

It wasn't mentioned in the Chancellor's speech, but the Spring Statement papers contain a major suite of anti-tax avoidance proposals, probably the toughest ever introduced.

Banks raking in £30bn from interest rate ruse

“As interest rates rose from rock-bottom levels, High Street banks profited. They put up mortgage & loan costs faster than they have increased rates for savers and pocketed the difference”

Why can’t we stop this?
