The poster consists of three main elements, all atop a chemical yellow background and aligned across a swiss grid against a 16:9 aspect ratio (which took some work to calculate!) - 1. a passage lifted directly from the game Disco Elysium, aligned to the left corner & set in varying typefaces (an unknown voice in Neue Haas Grotesk and your responses in Director). Transcript: "Your mangled brain would like you to know that there is a boxer called Contact Mike." YEAH? ANY NEWS ON MY WIFE'S NAME? HOW ABOUT MY MOTHER? "Nope. You're welcome!" 2. A footer of information aligned across the same swiss grid: - DYLAN ELYSIUM, set in Dobra Black Italic, the typeface of the game's logo - VIDEO GAME PLAYTHROUGH EVENT, set in Director - STARTING OCT 02 2024, also set in Director - the Scrotegang typemark, set in a bespoke variant of Ginto Nord Ultra 3. a piece by Aleksander Rostov which was used as the menu background in Disco Elysium, a beautiful and wildly colored landscape capturing a mysterious point of view away from Revachol, the town from the game. the artwork is placed dead in the center of the flier, and covers small portions of the text passage on its left.
