Trying not to be triggered by the new Battlefield battle royale mode that occurs in a Southern California map that is literally surrounded by a shrinking circle of fire. Of course I’ll play it.

Appropriately catching up with Strange New Worlds on Star Trek Day... Imagine being the writers tasked with showing the first big adventure of one of the most iconic teams in fiction. They knocked it out of the park. Kudos to David Reed and Bill Wolkoff.

In one of our rare instances of good timing, we installed solar+batteries last year. Now rebates are going away early because no promise from Washington is worth the paper it’s written on. Our power is out as I type, but we’re lucky to have backup.

Mark scored a couple of my Dark Justice episodes in the 90’s. Got to watch him use one of the first digital systems, Synclavier, that used laser disks for sample storage. A true nice guy and huge talent.

In the 80’s I sold software (Egghead!) to Brian DePalma. When I told him I was a big fan he glowered at me.
Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie

Back in my TV staffing days I was around when the Southpark pilot was passed around on VHS (Blair Witch, too). Santa vs. Jesus fight! Haven’t watched in ages. Do they still do quick turnarounds? Are we going to get Nazi vs. Rapist next week? I’d watch the hell out of that…

There are two games with “33” in the title coming out within weeks of each other, both on Game Pass, and I’m always mixing them up. Haven’t felt this ways since Armageddon/Deep Impact.
