I'm not suggesting we shouldn't fight for what's left of the BBC, given the alternatives, but some things are not worth fighting for. That would be the once much respected BBC Radio Scotland news. They have lost almost all independence supporters.
The BBC's senior leadership resigning en masse over one dodgy edit in one programme, simply because the right wing press demands it, tells you everything you need to know about where the power really lies in that relationship

Hi @stewart9graham.bsky.social listening to your paper review hoping to hear a balanced account about protest. I'd like to point out that NO-ONE I've ever known or heard on a pro Gaza demo shares the views of those interviewed by that journalist featured in the paper. We are non antisemitic 1/

Most of the radio Scotland crew have blocked me because they don't like to be called out for pandering to bias but this AM reported Badenochs drive for more police powers on public protests to protect feelings of certain groups. Literally SAME breath announced 100s of arrests at the London march.

Radio Scotland has gone so populist now. The only bit worth listening to, the 9 till 10AM slot on a Saturday where world news was discussed by serious people like David Pratt, is now a daft shouty magazine program

From what we've seen from the UN this week, Trump is a criminally insane danger. Netanyahu is pure evil. What a Shame that the delegates felt able to walk out on Netanyahu but not Trump.

May as well laugh at them for a bit. It will take a bit of work to root them out. Especially when radio Scotland host Laura Maxwell is putting it out there that Saturday's March wasn't about the far right. Just disillusioned people. Laura failed to notice that we need immigration in Scotland.
