I made a little time to make some art and had fun with some watercolor.
Since I finished Frankenstein I’m starting Dracula. The first chapter was pretty good, I like how its really building up that the protagonist is marching into an uncanny situation with all the warnings and the sign of the cross being present more frequently the closer he gets to the castle.

I finished Frankenstein, it was pretty good. Kind of frustrating as someone learning psychology for the book to get so close to having a great modern understanding of the brain intermixed with fantasy just to kind of gloss over the details and have the message that pursuing such knowledge is evil.

I made some (probably and realistically not) new food, basically an empanada but with curry as filling and a naan bread as the dough that you wrap it in.

I’ve read further into Frankenstein and I really like how the story has developed so far, the book has a done a good job for me at making a character with a troubled past they regret and did so by explaining in full the past that troubles them so much.

I’m about halfway through Frankenstein at this point, I appreciate that the monster isn’t just like a ghoul or mindless creature. As someone who has studied a tiny bit of psychology, the monster could just be a very large powerful child who was abandoned and hated, and coped with this destructively.

New warframe update might easily be my favorite in all time, I love character creation/customization in games, especially when it actually matters (ie: the game is a 3rd person camera game) and having body type not be tied to your face is amazing plus all the new makeup, Im eating so good rn.

Now I am not the most well read or knowledgeable person of my generation have no doubt, but in reading Frankenstein I notice there is a similarity to modern manga written by women, it’s been awhile but there’s an obvious similarity to Fullmetal Alchemist (tampering with magic relating to life).

Well, until I figure out where to start with learning about historic Inter-kingdom/Royal family political maneuvering, I have started reading Frankenstein. I feel like there are certain books/stories that by now I should have already read (Frankenstein being one such) yet here I am reading them now.

I’m wondering if anyone knows any parts of history are similar to the HunterxHunter succession war arc, searching for events/stories similar to it showed me a Reddit post where someone had commented that the “War of The 8 Princes” was similar but I don’t know any good sources to read about it.

Oh my god, I just experimenting with 3D animation in blender. I figured it was fine and decided to render what I made into something I could watch, but I didn’t mess with where or how it was being saved, and I rendered 120 slightly different pngs. I was curious as to why it was going so slow.

Ough, I know I have not posted anything in like a month or whatever, but I am realllly getting that itch to play some more dark souls or bloodborne. As if i have not sunk like 3 thousand hours into all of those games already, I really want to be productive and do something new/different, but...

Played the Monster Hunter beta a little today, and both the game creators and I have outdone ourselves as my character is way too hot, every time they flash on screen I got really excited. It was very stimulating seeing them eat their own cooking.

Started playing Caves of Qud, and ough, I need more. I need so much more of it. Every other morning, I start my day by playing it for maybe thirty minutes and I usually die in that time, today I just started figuring out tinkering and I am so excited.

Ough, I just scrolled a little through all I have posted here, and I really feel like I'm letting myself down when it comes to art. I think I was posting art twice a day at one point, which feels crazy since I can hardly focus on art at all. I have so much to learn in life...

Ohhh, I am the worst at getting stuff I want done, done. That art I talked about a week ago is about in the same state, it’ll be a bit longer, maybe tomorrow. (Probably not)
