If the intent is to get people to blame Dems it’s decidedly not working when the admin is loudly doing these moves themselves and also Trump is raining about how Rs could end this shutdown any day now by getting rid of the filibuster

The whole point is to make the Dems seem reasonable and the Rs reject what was seemingly a reasonable offer, making them own the shutdown even more.

But also if there’s one thing these justices can’t stand even more it’s unchecked emergency powers to dramatically increase taxes at will.

They basically said as much in their report that as long as the financials make sense they’ll keep manufacturing units for now. Switch 1 will be manufactured through 2026. Whether it goes beyond that will depend on how it sells next year

People keep bringing up the French Revolution as this cool thing deposing the monarchy, glossing over the fact that before and after killing the monarch was massive waves of terror and violence that killed a lot of regular people and massively disrupted normal life.

They have and will continue to be extremely conservative with acquisitions. They might do the occasional buy but it’s not their MO to do this and I don’t expect that to change

Older millennials experienced going from Bush II to Obama and saw how Trump blew up everything that came before. Out of all the group I’ve found older millennials to be the most consistently anti Trump.

I take it as, Republicans might have an offer ready to present to Democrats and they will have to decide if what Republicans are offering is enough.
