The second nonprofit I work for is in music. A children’s chorus. Its funding obviously was also threatened this week. And not only theirs but all lower income schools (Title I) which will cut the arts first when budgets get cut. The stress this week has been intense. Migraine attack last night. 3/4

Many of these children are from immigrant families. When their safety is threatened it strikes me to the core. Even those who are not immigrant families are having their benefits threatened. And if their benefits get cut, we will have many more mouths to feed. 2/4
