On a roll. 50% semolina sourdough (forgot to add the sesame seeds but that's okay). #breadsky

Semolina sourdough. 30% semolina, upping to 50% next time before I go nuts and try 100%. Anyway happy Sunday, void.

I mean, look, I'm not a reporter, so who am I to talk?

But on a day where the president both just called a woman reporter "Piggy" and is celebrating someone who had people bone saw apart one of my colleagues, I might just be a little ready to defend my colleagues and profession.

But that's just me

Catherine Cortez Masto on NPR "we are all in this fight [together]." Um... No, you literally just helped to join with Republicans to end the fight. Stop posturing on NPR after a horrible vote as damage control.

I've always said, my favorite thing about the Democratic party is a willingness to fight, long and hard, to secure "informal agreements" and nothing else. Thanks for fighting, @schumer.senate.gov @democrats.senate.gov @fetterman.senate.gov

Gd suckers, christ almighty.

A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.

To top it all off, I just remembered that Sunday is Palm Springs day (Nov 9th). Nice.

I know they "have" to be, but foundations are so spineless. Received an email from a famous foundation's new president, who went on and on about protecting democracy, but made a point to say they'd be steadfastly "bipartisan" and both-sides'd it as if both sides are currently destroying democracy.

#BREAD #SOURDOUGH This one got a little bit too dry from staying in too long chasing that brown coloring, and idk if I'd do 20% whole wheat again, but still pretty decent!

So are the athletes in Cure auto commercials the worst actors in the world? Or is that a purposefully done thing? I need to know!

Whoever is calling this #elclasico match on ESPN holy hell, quit with your whining already. It's infinitely less enjoyable than the VAR delays you're whining about.

Somebody told me to watch the Accountant months ago, and I can't remember who (thankfully), but I'm here to tell you, don't do it. #filmsky

This year has been awful. However I find myself watching a recent Mamdani rally and I'm feeling... an unhealthy amount of hope? What is this feeling? I like it.

#breadsky I am here once again humbly asking for your three or four likes for this fresh out the oven, spanking new sourdough loaf that I'm pretty proud of (this is only my 4th or 5th sourdough using no instant yeast to help it out!)

Finally baked a loaf after months off. Usually do a hybrid when baking sourdough, so pretty pleased with this 100% levain loaf 🍞

It's a goal of mine to one day open a book and, upon being met with a family tree in the first pages, not panic.
