So. Anyone taking bets on where SpaceX's next failure-to-achieve-orbit launch will end?

I was *not* expecting to see the lunar eclipse this evening with the cloudy, rainy weather today. I don't think I've ever had a better picture of one from a phone camera, either. I'll take it!

My view this morning... through a webcam, not from under an eagle.

The weather is changing (as weather is wont to do) and it's sunny and clear this morning. Looks like we'll get rain (and snow in the mountains) this weekend with our latest atmospheric river.
A one-week weather chart from 2025-03-04 through 2025-03-11 showing decent chances of rain every day except the 4th and the 8th and high temperatures ranging from 14°C on the 6th to 21°C on the 9th.

We're going into the third day of our "rainy week" and haven't seen a drop. Hazy and a bit cloudy so the temperature variation has definitely flattened. >shrug< We could really use some rain.
One week's temperature graph from Sunday, February 23 to March 2, 2025 taken from my front step. The peak temperatures for Friday and Saturday are much lower than the rest. The high and low temperatures are between 51.8°F and 87°F, both on Thursday.

Looks like March might be "coming in like a lion" like they used to say. I don't believe these are big storms so we're expecting less than an inch of rain, total, the whole week. (To be clear, the temperatures in the graphic are in Celsius. We don't have *real* winter, here.)
