Largish white dude. Not a fan of guns, forced birthers, or anti-vaxxers. Haven’t seen a sane republican since hw bush. And he kinda sucked.
Well, that was taibbi. Tracey got beat up by a geriatric

Now that's a name I've not heard in a long time.

It was better that way.

LCOE for solar+storage ~$104/MWh last July; Nat gas at $70. S+S dropping 20%+ per year, nat gas rising 5% per year. Next year if those numbers hold essentially makes them equal with S+S deployable in months vs years.
Heating infra is another topic, agreed, but though we were talking elect generation
Solar+storage is so much farther along than you think
On how plummeting battery prices make 24/7 solar power a reality today.

As a Yalie, I would be deeply saddened if Larry Summers went back to being president of Harvard and losing them $6B. Deeply, deeply saddened.

Yeah - this is the nut of it, though I *think* solar+storage is still slightly more expensive than natgas BUT as you say is dropping in price every month AND gas turbines are like 4-5 years out at this point. Every utility should just add solar+storage asap.

People must go to a sports book full of smoke, TVs (dog racing on most of them) with really out of shape dudes who look 70 but are really 45 sitting in semicircular red plush chairs badly in need of reupholstering. I'm 100% serious. Get that shit offa people's phones.

So, in effect, both sides did something wrong.

I think it's a reference to an Epstein email suggesting he had pics of Dump with teenagers in bikinis, which the Times ignored.

I suspect Anthropic's more focused enterprise approach will ultimately work better than OpenAI's all over the place strategy. And some of what I've seen from Anthropic IS useful, so that kinda helps their business plan.

Conservative criticism, even if bad faith, is treated as legitimate and spurs change. Liberal criticism, even if good faith, is sneered at and dismissed.

A recipe for rot

Yeah, I've read both as well. My feeling is that the Dems will just not remove the filibuster when in power. It's downsides out weight it's positives, but that's why I'd love to read a more direct debate b/w these folks.
