Liverpool determined to end up with one of Isak or Ekitike this summer.

Ekitike feels more like the type of profile Liverpool go for based on age. Isak clearly the dream but if Ekitike is a player that could reach those same levels then it is a shrewd move.

Very exciting summer of transfers.

There is no way Liverpool make an approach without encouragement from the player.

Also interesting both Isak and Diaz are apparently not for sale but both clubs would discuss at a certain price.
Liverpool have made an approach to sign Alexander Isak.

Liverpool say no formal offer has been submitted as they're aware Newcastle’s stance has always been that Isak isn't for sale.

However, they have communicated their interest to do a deal in the region of £120m.

Really emotionally intelligent comments from Arne Slot re Jota's passing. Essentially gives those closest to him at the club the confidence/permission to be happy as well as sad while mourning him and not feel any sort of guilt because of it. Proper leadership

Difficult in these moments to know what to say but @knoxharrington.bsky.social is able to put into words exactly how many are feeling when reacting to tragic death of Diogo Jota and his brother.

While the world has lost a footballer a family has lost a father, a husband, a son and a brother 💔

Interesting, after the Trent news, that the Frimpong links have been ramping up in the past few days.

Especially as he is 24 and apparently has a release clause. Two big ticks on the FSG checklist.

Nothing is forever, especially in football.

Trent is a generational talent, has won every major trophy with his boyhood club and is set to end his time there winning the league title in front of fans.

It’s ok to both be disappointed he’s leaving and proud of what he’s achieved.
Real Madrid are working to close a deal to sign Trent Alexander-Arnold as a free agent this summer.

The La Liga side will have to inform Liverpool if & when a deal is signed, which hasn't happened yet.

For the second time this week we lost to the better team.

Always hard to take but can’t help but feel happy for the Newcastle fans.

Amazing city and fully deserves to celebrate this.

Liverpool going out of the Champions League is obviously disappointing but there is no shame losing to this incredible PSG side.

A tie that deserved to be a semi final, that both teams could have won in normal time but PSG deserve overall.

Arsenal every time they have a chance to close the gap and put pressure on Liverpool to be serious title contenders…

Can’t imagine a more fitting end to the last Merseyside derby at Goodison. Gutting to concede late but it’s another game down and another point further ahead.
Whack 💥

What a finish to the last Merseyside derby at Goodison Park.

The points are shared between Everton & Liverpool.

This the thing, no doubt Liverpool will drop more points this season but no other team looks ready to put the pressure on when they do.
Liverpool's points-per-game average equates to 90 over a full season.

Arsenal now need to finish with W15 D1 L0 to reach 90.

Honestly don’t blame Trent if he is to leave in the summer. Won everything he can at Liverpool (might win more this season).

Entering the prime of his career and chance to take on a new challenge. Only get one career should take the opportunities best for him.

Lovely dose of much needed UX optimism from @boagworld.bsky.social here 🙏
I was so concerned by a recent article that painted a very negative picture of the state of UX that I have decide to throw together a quick video/blog response. I hope it encourages people! https://buff.ly/4ioBBRi

Interesting note on Liverpool’s fixtures. We don’t play Chelsea or Arsenal again until May. There are two ways of looking at this:

1️⃣ These games could be massive in deciding where the title ends up this season.

2️⃣ If Liverpool maintain a sizeable lead then these games might not even matter.

Very much looking forward to WWE Survivor Series tonight. Adding CM Punk to the Bloodline War Games match has made it even more interesting. Throw in teases with Seth and The Rock and it could be a classic.
