I used to go to bed an hour early the night of "fall back," to gain TWO extra hours, but that only messed me up that much more for the coming week. :)

I look at the online replica of the printed Chicago Sun-Times every morning. My hope is that the weekday paper will be at least 50 pages (it's a tabloid) and Sunday's 100 pages. Today's Sunday paper was 90, and the Saturday paper was 36 pages. A pamphlet, practically! What content is there is good.

War crimes? Extrajudicial killings of other nations' citizens? Judge, jury, executioner? Murders based on a guess? Nah, not enough to convene a hearing, thanks. Congress is defunct, and worse, derelict.

I'd leave if I could afford to. In fact, there are towns in Ontario where I'd be closer to family in Michigan while living outside the USA.

Expanding the tax to all income (no maximum) would solve the problem. A no-brainer except of course to leaders with no brain.

We're the only developed country that clings to this idea of a "right" of every individual to own a gun, and our Supreme Court, by one vote, upheld this fetish by choosing the widespread misreading of the 2nd Amendment. I wish we could just align our gun policy with similar Western nations.

Standard processes, if these are even in place anymore, will not work. Neither will waiting for 2026.
