Senior Labour figures tell Keir Starmer to stop making mistakes.

Two child benefit cap, disability benefit cuts, PFI, not nationalising water, deregulating finance, further privatisation of the NHS, chasing Reform narratives aren't "mistakes". They are wrong policies.

Need policy reset.

Went to jog a few laps of Thornbury Park. Got frustrated my phone wouldn't play through my ear phones.
Realised my ear phones were in my house.

I'm 60 next week...

Since I got the convertible the commute is my favourite part of work.
The vanilla is the label on the air freshener, not a description of me.

Visited a family member in hospital in Cardiff today.
Offered the staff some scones, jam and cream. I'd brought loads.

Broad accented lady said only if I had a knife. Asked her to repeat her comment and realised she was actually saying only if I had enough !

Welcome to America;

Managed to drive to the coast, get afloat with old freinds, drive back, get into London and see Peter Kay at the O2 on Saturday, and almost get home before midnight.

Currently in charing cross hospital trying to get my middle aged body serviced.

Ive been successfully verified as an adult by Blue Sky based on using the phone camera to habe my age estimated.

At least it was kind enough not to show me the estimate.

I'll continue to try and not act my age.

End of a difficult day, remembered i had a virgin* bottle of gin in the larder (*unopened, not alcohol free).

Poured into a favorite glass with good memories.

Its very acceptable.

I sometimes get teased about sailing being posh or elite and I push back.
But right now we have an opera singer 'entertaining' us.
So I give in.
