I fired up Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 for the first time last night, and now I understand why it is getting so much attention. I only got through early Chapter 1 and I can’t wait to see where this goes.

So weird to see how everyone swears they actually loved Kirby Air Ride back in the day. I liked it too, but it was mostly panned at the time.

Okay, so they fixed City Trial in Kirby Air Ride by letting you choose from 4 events, and since you have more players in the trial, you will always have at least one competitor.
This was my main issue with the original game—you would often build the wrong machine with no recourse.

Okay, so they fixed City Trial in Kirby Air Ride by letting you choose from 4 events, and since you have more players in the trial, you will always have at least one competitor.

So with current gen consoles increasing in price and Pro / next-gen models debuting at a higher tier… are we maxed out on hardware for a while? If these consoles don’t come down in price, how viable are new generations that pass $1,000 in the US?

Generational leaps are always tough to swallow.
They’re also the best time to go back to previous gen classics you may have missed, or even replay ones you haven’t touched in a while.
The games are still good, and cheaper than before.
I’m replaying Metroid Dread right now and just loving it.

Big games cost more to manufacture physical. Gamemakers have to pay that overhead, which permanently eats into profit.
Switch 2 games are bigger, so those costs went up.
Key card preserves physical authentication at lower cost.

Saddest part about the tariffs is that when they are eventually repealed, no way companies will just lower prices back down. They will ride that wave as long as they can.

One hour in, I think Resident Evil 4 is the greatest remake of all time. As a huge fan of the original it is so cool to experience it again like this.
