@susan4ed.bsky.social: Lib Dem MP Mark Wilkinson introduced the 'Sunshine Bill' requiring new homes to gave solar panels, and has been pressing the Labour government since then. Locally we've had positive Heated Buildings forums in Mid Dunbartonshire.

Sanne: Something we've been pursuing and researching in Edinburgh is Heat Networks and Solar opportunities in existing homes. These are both positibe examples despite the Scottish government Heat Bill no longer requiring climate infrastructure on all new homes.

Cllr Barrett: In Perth and Kinross, we've been dispersing Green funds which has gone towards tree planting, EV charging points, wildflowers & much more.

Although the Council can only directly control around 5% of emissions from P&K, we can influence up to 80% of emitters.

Ray: There is a proposal for a 'Just Transition Commission' UK-wide, just like there is in Scotland, as well as an ombudsman. These could help look at Green Skills especially, and ensure investment in British-led supply chains for green infrastructure.

Sanne: The condition of Scotland's rivers and coast is cause for concern and a scandal we'll not let go unchallenged. Our waterways and their reliant ecosystems deserve the clearest possible quality.

Charles: Carbon is not simply a numbers game. We have too many governments and companies who think they can balance the scale or offset carbon emissions, but it's vital to actually reduce the emissions.
