Borders Greens fully support low-carbon energy and electrification. This does NOT mean we support every proposed wind farm and pylon scheme proposed in the Borders that will only add to the current centralised energy system (the National Grid).

In our latest Green News, we object to large Extraction Pylons, wind farms and Battery Energy Storage Systems currently proposed for parts of the #ScottishBorders and suggest alternatives which are better for local communities.
