Just got a similar one customized to be YC-adjacent-sounding and using who.is/whois/y-comb... as the domain. People can ruin anything, I tell ya!

Whoa! Wish I was nearby to grab a coffee. :)

After the latest Copilot cram-in to VS2023 the entire debugger crashes 100% of the time when I *hit any breakpoint*. That's happening on Win11 (I was tricked!), but maybe you can use my super sweet workaround of just using VS2019 forever.

Oh dear god.

Maybe something shitty like installing old dotnet 4 versions sequentially starting with whatever was released near whatever cursed version of Win10 you're stuck on?

EoL in a month! WontFix

My plain ol' Win11 machine is somehow randomly bluescreening while suspended so apparently that's not a given any more either. o_O

I'm slightly too lazy to try a Linux distro, but geez Windows is trying so hard to encourage me to.

Incompetent windshield wiper sensing/logic gets me almost every drive. At least it's a running gag with the kids now.

One of my kids uses "spawned in" for "arrived unexpectedly" (and doesn't even really know what Quake is!)

But then magically the x64-generating-JIT just worked without any changes at all, running on the aarch64 M3 MacBook.

Everything virtualizes-or-emulates everything else these days, but I'm still surprised at how seamless Rosetta is.

Does sort of look like sullen teenagers intentionally being difficult and not wanting to be there. (Protest or apathy or lack of drilling, who knows)

(oops, missed the thread fork... Well, good luck 😬)

Def depends on many local variances and overhead measurements and local conditions, but I'm all-electric with only 125A service. Harder when you get real winter I guess.

I feel like it'd take a lot of work on the "local inspectors" to have them pass anything like software-defined load management. Branch circuit sharing was the only option I found when I looked 5-6y ago. (e.g. simple-switch.ca/shop-cost-ef...)
