it almost seems counterintuitive, but i find wandering around a big city with my headphones in to be a very regulating activity. even a mostly unfamiliar or foreign city. caveat being if it's too crowded (i.e. times square). then it's the worst place i've ever been in my life

i hate the widespread use of AI so goddamn much. my department is doing a staff teaching on a subject we all know plenty about and my coworker agreed to take the lead on it. and i guess to her that meant asking chat gpt to pull together some info and read it out loud...?
